Why the Frame Changed

The original approach was workable on paper, but several practical concerns became more important as the build developed.

The Problem

The frame needed to do three things well:

• carry the body load into the trailer cleanly
• resist movement and racking at highway speed
• avoid adding unnecessary weight

The earlier arrangement made some of those load paths less direct than I wanted.

Revised Approach

The revised design places more emphasis on direct structural support, reinforced corners, and predictable fastening points.

The rule going forward: structural parts should have an obvious job and an obvious load path.
